Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans: The second day and third match it was which played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans. It was first match outside the Karachi. It was first match in Lahore Gaddafi Stadium. Both teams had good sides but unfortunately, it was a low-scoring match. Although teams have big names but it was bad luck for Lahore fans.

Lahore Qalandars Bating
Lahore had a good start even it was best opening start of PSL 5 till now. The opening pair made a partnership of 59 runs when Chris Lynn lost his wicket on the ball of Moeen Ali. The opener played a fine innings of 39 runs on 19 balls, including 3 sixes and 4 fours.
It was the start of Lahore Qalandars’s bad luck as they lost his second wicket of Fakhar Zaman in the same over of Moeen Ali. Qalandars lost their 1 more wicket of Ben Dunk in the next 2 overs. 3 wickets were down till 63.
That was a tough time for Lahore. Hafeez tried to be supportive, but at the total of 89 he went back on 14 individual scores. Dane Vilas was the next prey of Multan on 99. He could help Lahore with 19 runs. The next was David Wiese and then Shaheen Afridi. The last one was Haris Rauf.
The only player after the opener was the skipper Sohail Akhtar, who played an impressive innings. Lahore Qalandars could reach a total of 138.
Multan Sultans Bowling
In Lahore Qalandars vs Multan Sultans match, Sohail Tanvir beard the highest average from Sultan’s side as he gave 36 runs in 4 overs and 1 wicket. Muhammad Irfan impressed with hi spell as he gave 24 runs in 4 overs. Imran Tahir was the best bowler from Multan Sultans as he picked 2 players in return of 21 runs in 4 overs.
Moeen Ali also picked 2 players in 2 overs by giving 13 runs. Shahid Afridi was also in form as he gave just 25 runs in 4 overs although he didn’t get any wicket. Muhammad Ilyas was a young man who picked 1 player in 2 overs in return of 16 runs.
Multan Sultans openers couldn’t give an impressive start as they lost James Vince on a total of 24. The skipper Shan Masood tried to make a partnership with Moeen Ali but Moeen went back on 43. He made 11 runs.
After the first two losses, the skipper made a partnership with Rilee Rossouw. Masood broke this partnership on 85 and went back to the dressing room. The captain scored 38 runs on 29 balls. The newcomer Zeeshan Ashraf could not impress and could make only 4 runs. The last one was Rilee Rossouw. He made 32 runs.
Multan Sultans chased the runs in 16.1 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
Lahore Qalandars Bowling
Shaheen Afridi was the best bowler in the match as he gave only 18 runs in 4 overs and got 1 wicket too. Usman Shinwari couldn’t impress and faced 26 runs in 2 overs. Haris Rauf was also in form as he performed well in BBL, but he also didn’t impress. He had to bear 40 runs in 4 overs with no wicket.
Dildar Hussain dropped a catch and do some miss fielding. He also couldn’t perform well and increase Sultan’s runs by 24 in 2.1 overs. Muhammad Hafeez was an experienced bowler. He bowled 2 overs and gave 18 runs. David Weise had to bear 11 runs in 2 over with no wicket.
